A lot has been done, yet we feel that a lot more must be done on this issue. What can you do?
1. If you can help us in any way in the community (volunteer graphic design/computer help, distribute flyers, petition signing, outreach events, pro bono services) please contact us.
2.Stay up to date. Join our mailing list by subscribing to this blog (enter your email in the box at the top right hand side of the page). If you are on Facebook or Twitter, join in to be kept notified of developments.
3. Support and ask other community organizations to stay on top of this issue, such as Bronte Village Residents Association who has helped us to spread this message through the community.
4. Sign up with C4ST (Canadians for Safe Technology) who are working hard to create legislative change. A good resource for information if you wish to delve further into the existing research and to stay updated on all the ongoing issues related to EMR (electromagnetic radiation).
Perhaps the most important thing you can do is to stay engaged. We know it is a technical topic and it is so much easier to just accept it as a fact of modern life. But this affects all of us and we need to keep working together to keep our elected representatives accountable to protect the citizens and preserve our communities in the face of rapidly changing technology and infrastructure.
Talk to your family, friends, neighbours.
Ask questions of your politicians.
Stay engaged, informed and keep the conversation going.
